My Magic Box
I will put in the box
The sombre mysteries from the dark side of the moon
The indigo heart of a petrified Brazilian soldier
Fire from the hottest, blistering chilli in the wide country of Spain
I will put in the box
The life-threatening song of a desperate Siren
The truthful eye of the Mother Confessor
The tiny voice of a Greek Night Wisp
I will put in the box
The rapidness of a rushing river spraying in my face
The strength of a great typhoon pounding onto silver concrete
The ferocity of a raging fire
I will put in the box
A glassy reflection from a frozen lake
Vibrant Frangipanis flourishing inspiringly
The last emerald green oak leaf of summer
My box is designed from shiny glass from the conjuring
world of Persia.
It has the azure tears of stone on the lid and the flowing
breath of life in the corners.
Its hinges are the springing joy of growing gorse.
I shall glide in the deep skies of the sapphire planet Neptune,
Then rocket off to the shark-filled waters of Draden’s Reef.
